FASTER Utah Benefit Rimfire Challenge May 17, 2019

Rimfire challenge is a family friendly shooting event, where anyone that can handle a gun safely may participate. Shooters rotate between four stations with different target configurations. Both handgun and rifle are shot at each station. Shooters are encouraged to bring their own .22 handgun and rifle. If a shooter needs to borrow a handgun or rifle, please contact FASTER Utah to make arrangements at info@fasterutah.org or 8016049018. Rifle and handguns that shoot .22 long rifle ammunition are all that is permitted. There is an open class where any optics are allowed and a limited class where only iron sights are used. This will be a cold range, guns must be carried unloaded in a case to the firing line. Shooters are encouraged to have a shooting partner accompany them at each station to assist them as needed, including loading magazines. Please bring at least two magazines per gun. Speed loaders for tubular magazines will be available at each station. All prizes will be awarded by random drawing so as to give everyone who has participated an equal opportunity. Admittance is free for family and friends that wish to spectate. All spectators and shooters are required to have proper eye and hearing protection.

From Provo:

Follow US-189 (Provo Canyon) towards Heber City.

Turn RIGHT onto W 3000 S. If you reach W 2400 S you've gone about 0.7 miles too far

Turn RIGHT onto S BIG HOLLOW RD.S BIG HOLLOW RD is 0.3 miles past S 1000 W

Follow Big Hollow Road until it comes to a T. Turn right (west) and follow that road until the end which is the shooting range.

From SLC:

Merge onto I-80 E towards Heber City through Parleys Canyon.

Take the US-40 E exit, EXIT 146, toward HEBER/VERNAL.

Merge onto US-40 E toward HEBER/VERNAL

Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto US-189. S

Turn Left onto W 3000 S. It is 0.7 miles past the W 2400 S intersection.

Turn RIGHT onto S BIG HOLLOW RD.S BIG HOLLOW RD is 0.3 miles past S 1000 W

Follow Big Hollow Road until it comes to a T. Turn right (west) and follow that road until the end which is the shooting range.
